Canada Express Entry

What is Express Entry?

Express Entry (EE) is an online immigration application system. It allows people to submit a profile and be considered as a skilled immigrant. Candidates with the highest rankings are invited to apply for permanent residency.

  

Which Immigration Programs Does Express Entry Cover (Canada immigration express entry)?

You must use Canada Express Entry to apply for:

1. The Federal Skilled Worker (FSW)

The Federal Skilled Worker (FSW) program is for people who are selected to immigrate to Canada because of their work experience and skills.

To be eligible to apply, you must:

Have a job offer; or

Be eligible to work in Canada; or

Be able to prove that you have   enough money to support yourself and your dependants after you arrive in Canada;

and Have at least 1 year of full-time (or equivalent) skilled work  experience;Meet minimum language levels in English or French; Have a post-secondary certificate, diploma or degree; Plan to live outside the province of Quebec. 

  

2. The Federal Skilled Trades Program (FSTP)

The Federal Skilled Trades Program (FSTP) is for people who want to become permanent residents of Canada based on being qualified in a skilled trade.

 To be eligible to apply, you must:

Have at least 2 years of full-time work experience in an eligible skilled trade;

Meet minimum language levels in English or French;

Have an offer of full-time employment for a total of at least one year; or  

Have a certificate of qualification in your skilled trade issued by a province or territory

  

3. Canadian Experience Class (CEC)?

This class is for people with skilled work experience in Canada.

To be eligible to apply, you must:

Have at least 1 year of full-time (or equivalent) skilled work experience in Canada;

Apply within 3 years of obtaining your skilled work experience;

Have had legal status while working, or studying, in Canada;

Meet minimum language levels in English or French; and

Plan to live outside the province of Quebec.

    

4. Provincial Nominee Program(PNP)?

Provincial nomination offers a valuable route to Canadian permanent residence.The development of a state or a province solely depends on the people residing there. A country which has abundant skilled workers would grow strong, making life comfortable for every individual there. Canada is a country which embraces skills from all over the world through Canada Provincial Nominee Program (Canada PNP ).

To apply as a provincial nominee, you must:

meet the minimum requirements of one of the province or territory’s non-Express  Entry streams

be nominated under that stream

   

How Do I Apply

Below is the entire process explained for you.

Step 1: Take IELTS coaching classes and book IELTS date 1 and a half month in future.

Step 2: Apply for Educational Credential Assessment (ECA) from World Education Services (WES) - World Education Services – Required Documents

Step 3: IELTS result and WES confirmation is received around the same time so you can create your EOI (Expression of Interest) to enter the Federal Skilled Worker’s express entry draw.

[Considering the fact that you have received appropriate bands and have reached to a respectable CRS score around the cut off points, if not]

Step 4: Canadian Government sends you an invitation in the next draw (there are 2 to 3 draws every month)

Step 5: You will be given 90 days to submit all the documents including Medical and PCC.

Sep 6: After submission, Canadian government sends you a passport request after 3–5 months of document submission. Your passport is stamped with PR visa and is sent back to you in 1 week’s time.

Step 7: Once you receive your passport, you are asked to go to Canada within the 365 days of your medical examination.
